One has been taken by much of the world as reality, though much is borrowed and written and rewritten to suit those in power, be it church or state. A most destructive power it became, that so called 'holy' book written by MEN.
Before Israel became the bane, there was the Catholic church. Before the advent of Catholicism, was the Pagan Rome herself, who borrowed her gods from Greece and renamed them. If it's not one, it's another.
Seems like there is always someone. Remember Attila, Alexander, Genghis Khan, Tamerlane, Stalin, and the list goes on.
Israel seems to be the ultimate. She is also the great tester. Do you prefer the material world, or the spiritual? Who do you serve? What ideal? The temporary temporal where you will throw away your integrity for power and comfort, or the the eternal where love, cooperation and unity are the way?
