I admit it. I admire the revolutionaries and am cheerin' for 'em, but I refuse to be a part of it. Why should I be? Not my world. I didn't create the problems, and with my mindset, I wouldn't have contributed to them. I'm not even feedin' the system now. The only thing we buy is food, groomin' supplies, cleanin' supplies, petrol, and some clothin', most of it cheap.
Oh, we get good food. Unadulterated olive oil, the best organic veggies and raw dairy, mostly from next door, eggs layed this mornin', also from next door, and very little processed food; which is mostly stuff like ice cream, gourmet chocolates, pickled items, baked goods, and pasta, or stuff like that. It's less than 25 percent of our diet. We do most things from scratch, but like Hell I'm gonna try and grow and pickle the capers for our devilled eggs, ya ken? Sometimes we sacrifice for the sake of convenience. We don't preserve much fruit, either. A little, but mostly we buy the ready-made fruit preserves. I love apricot, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, and peach jams. Also rave over fruit butters and apple jelly. Have that on crumpets a lot with tay. But those things we buy ready-made are made from organic products, and very rarely have obnoxiouos chemicals in them. If they do have obnoxious chemicals, we may occasionally buy them once for the sake of satisfyin' curiosity, then never again.
Anyway, I'm gone in 42 days at most. I came here with the idea of bein' an observer, not a fighter. I will fight if me or those with me are attacked, but otherwise, no!
Well, I also came here to see my story set go up, and a couple of other reasons that I found out about in the last couple of months, but those really are no business of anyone but me and mine, so never mind.
