Do as little as possible. Drive as little as possible. Only buy what you absolutely NEED!
OK, I'm dreamin' The bimbos will continue to visit the beauty salons and buy the war paint. The chips and beer will flow at the Saturday games on the boob tube with the 'guys' of both genders. The fast food outlets will continue to show vast profits for those Hell bent on committin' suicide with the MSG and other nasties they have in that crap that I don't even consider food. The list is a parsec long, but you get the drift.
FINE! YOU COLLECTIVELY DESERVE WHAT YOU GET!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT DO YOU EXPECT IF YA KEEP FEEDIN' THE THING THAT'S DESTROYIN' YA??!!!!!!!
Man, this post was a waste of time, huh? Who's gonna change because of it? For that matter, who's gonna read it? All two or three individuals in what country?
Am I bein' a hypocrite? Well, we do buy gourmet food as opposed to the simple, cheaper stuff. We spend a ton when we go out to eat, we buy cleanin' supplies, and yes; we do have superfluous expenditures. Oils and incense. Nose stuff. Use oils instead of antipersperant or deodorant, though. Also make heavy use of 'em when makin' out.
OK, maybe only the incense is superfluous.
All in all, we're not too expensive. We don't do media, except for a few items, our clothes are pretty cheap, haircuts get done at home, we rarely drive more than 64 kilometres a week, and most of our discretionary time is spent entertainin' ourselves. Not that we watch TV or even have one, but the mullethead tells us our conversations are generally funnier than anythin' 'it' ever did see on TV when it used to watch 'it' as a crotch droppin'.
Whatever.

And speakin' o' simple pleasures, it was a nice medium temperature day, and we sat on the verandah with a kettle of creamed Twinnings Lady Grey tay, and hot slices of home made garlic and olive pugliese with mixed Italian herbs thrown in, topped with garlic poweder, and half melted butter. Ye gods, can my mentor make a killer loaf of bread.
It was a nice treat. We usually bought some in one of our main store's bakery section that delivered twice a week, every Monday and Thursday; so we got it as fresh as it gets, there.
