12 Days

The last 12 days of my sojourn here will be like a whirlwind I am told. It starts October 28, 2011. Not sure I'll be inclined to post anythin' after that, if I'll even have time. That's 70 days from now. I still can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, but I feel like I'm on the verge of seein' a pin prick of it any day now.

I don't know what date I'm more excited about. October 28, or November 9.

I'm just beside myself obsessin' over this. And between now and then, there's my unpleasant three weeks of obligatory distasteful service that I feel I must do that I kind of buried myself in which I am NOT lookin' forward to.

Oh well. That starts in early September. Two weeks of it, anyway. The last week is in Mid-October.

Now, I look at this:

Nice to have knocked the year count off. Nice to have weeks go to a single digit tomorrow, and the minute counter go down to under 100,000 as well.


Now, to keep myself as distracted as possible, not that I can stop thinkin' about this anyway, but hey. Time for a mornin' run after I conclude this post. I'll let someone else make brekkie, not that I'm even sure I want any when I get back. I think I'll be more at peace with all this in another month.

But I'm bouncin' back and forth so much between bein' comfortable, and crawlin' the walls that I can't guarantee that, not that anyone should care.

But hey! On the other hand I'm as happy as a fresh creamed cat I don't have to wait until next April like I originally intended.
