Even though I cleaned up most of the house, had fun at the town lunch, and dealt with the grocery shoppin', I can't get my mind off of August 20th. It's now the 18th. A part of me wants to knock myself out for two days, but I really can't do that.
At least it's cooler today. It's been too hot for the past couple of days, and it drove me nuts. Thank the gods the house is surrounded by trees. Some part of the roof is always in the shade.
Stock markets tanked world wide, Middle East is comin' under more strain, revolutionary spirit is growin', every one with at least 1/10 of a brain is completely fed up with Israel, corruption and police brutality is bein' exposed more than ever, and I am sooooooo glad I am not stationed in a city.
I can't wait until this infernal summer is over, even though it has been statistically better than average.
