Today Is A Dream

I was in a state where I didn't mind cleanin' up the house last night and this mornin', and we left early for town. We stopped at a cafe that had a couch and fireplace, before the restaurant opened, and we sat on it with our hazelnut lattes, and the fire was lit. It was also rainin' like Hell, the winds were a mither fecker, but the overhang outside of the cafe were too long for the rain to hit the windows. Damn!

But it was still nice.

We went Japanese, and ate kind of light for what we usually do. Shoppin' was a bitch, and we got royally wet considerin' we had to keep the groceries dry. Bringin' 'em in also took twice as long as usual, but that's life. We only have to do it another 5 times at the absolute maximum, and there were some things we weren't buyin' anymore. After all, we were leavin', and we were gonna try to use up all we could. If we had too much left over, we planned on throwin' a party, and invitin' our next door neighbours, and those directly across the street from us, but we were gonna try not to have to do that.

The rain was still comin' down like a waterfall some times, and I think it was time to take a break from my news readin', and have a cup o' tay. Of course I'd make a kettle. Company would be nice.
