Got some light rain this mornin'. Had some tay and a couple of mango-pineapple scones my mentor made from scratch. DELICIOUS!!!!!!!
I then went inside and put together some tofu kabobs to grill later with Crimini 'shrooms, red bell pepper slices, Walla Walla sweet onion slices seasoned with black pepper, and a butter-garlic-teriyaki sauce that would be applied just before puttin' on the grill. We were gonna have 'em with sour batard garlic bread made with fresh garlic, fresh parsley, butter, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, and Italian seasonin'. We got a barrel of Virgil's root beer for it.
Stocks down so far, but nowhere near as ballistic as yesterday. Not done yet though, and I ain't goin' back on line today. Plunge Protection Team to the 'rescue', I guess, not that it IS a rescue. The business world and everything would be better off without it. It's just a mad casino favourin' the bankers, and those with insider information.
Still, it's a good day here. We were gonna go out and play in the light rain before our second meal of the day. Nice to have the cooler weather back.
Can't wait until Maybon arrives. I have a suspicion that that will be when I finally see that light at the end of the tunnel of gettin' oot o' here.
