Do You Know What You're Feeding The Animals In Your Care???

The cats get Nutro wet and dry, Mars cat treats, human grade canned tuna, chicken, other fish, fish steaks, chicken liver and wild caught shrimp not from the gulf, or anything near Japan after the quake. They also get cream, eggs, and lightly seasoned chicken and fish from when we go out to eat. The human grade meat we buy under cellophane is lightly cooked. Half raw. We know fully raw is better, but the cats don't seem to like it, so they get the next best thing. Their coats are glossy, their teeth look good, and they have two or three sessions of bouncing off the walls every day, so based on circumstancial evidence, the diet works. The Siamese tabby is a little pudgy, but it doesn't slow him down. They're all the cats rescued by the mullethead, and the Siamese tabby was virtually starved when he was taken in, so he overcompensated when putting his weight back on, and never lost it; but he's not morbidly obese, and he is active, so hey! He's also a big cat with a large frame. He almost looks like a little lion, in his build.

Purina, Iams (which is a P&G plant. . .company that does animal testing) and Friskies should be ploughed under. Then again, so should most corporations. Boycotts can do wonders, if the collective U.S. would ever develop a brain, but that's aobut as likely as Mercury and Pluto colliding at high noon today.
